The Seahawks closed out their home season against the visiting Patriots of Old Mill High School.  South River exhibited their dominance from the opening whistle keeping the majority of play in front of their own goal for the start of the first half.  Only excellent play by the Old Mill keeper kept the game scoreless for the first twelve minutes.  At that time Adriana Parker took a pass from Alyssa Cowens and fired a shot that banked off a defender into the goal for a 1-0 lead.  Thirteen minutes later Rachael Barge was assisted on a goal by Cherie Dowden for a 2 - 0 Seahawks lead.  Cowens then scored an unassisted goal when she shot from twenty yards out over the keeper into the right side of the goal.  Halftime was reached with South River holding a 3 - 0 lead.  The second half started much as the first with the Seahawks dominating play until the 41 minute mark when Calen Norton was assisted on a goal from a cross by Ana Ippolito for a 4 - 0 lead.  Seven minutes later, Norton and Ippolito combined again with a perfect cross and shot for a 5 - 0 lead which also proved the final score.  The South River defense of Maddie Kust, Makenzie Cooke, Kambrea Smith, Hannah Degan and Savannah Hannon did not allow a shot on goal by the Patriots.  Seahawks keepers Sam Smith and Maddie Dubois combined for their tenth shutout of the season.
