The Seahawks traveled to Annapolis to face the Bruins of Broadneck High School.  South River continued their season long strong play early in the first half and pressured the Bruins keeper several times without success.  The Seahawks opened the scoring at the thirteen minute mark when Ana Ippolito crossed a pass into the box which was taken by Adriana Parker who shot past the keeper for a 1 - 0 lead.  Broadneck countered with strong offense but fine play by defenders Maddie Kunst, Kambrea Smith, Alex Hagen, Makenzie Cooke and Savannah Hannon kept the Bruins from getting on the board.  Parker scored her second goal of the game thirteen minutes later when Jaclyn Bredenkamp assisted with a cross which Parker deflected past the keeper for a 2 - 0 South River lead.  The Seahawks took the two goal lead into the halftime break.  The second half Broadneck attacked the Seahawks defense keeping much of the play in front of the Seahawks goal.  South River stopped the Bruins at every attempt and held their two goal lead for the second half.  Three minutes before the final whistle Bredenkamp crossed a hard pass into the box for her second assist to Parker who fired past the diving keeper to complete her hat trick.  Parker’s offense was all the Seahawks needed for a hard fought 3 - 0 final score.  South River keepers Maddie Dubois and Sam Smith combined to shut out the Bruins for their sixth straight scoreless performance.
