The Seahawks traveled to Harwood to face the Bulldogs of Southern High School. South River dominated the play from the opening whistle and kept the play of the game nearly entirely on the Bulldogs side of the field. The Seahawks offense peppered the Southern goalkeeper with numerous shots throughout the half. Excellent goalkeeping kept the Seahawks out of the goal until the 29th minute when Cameryn Dawson broke through the Southern back line and scored unassisted to give the Seahawks a 1-0 lead. The Bulldogs keeper made more saves the final five minutes of the half and South River settled for the 1-0 halftime lead. The Seahawks offense continued their dominance in the second half until Adriana Parker took a pass from Anna Ballard three minutes into the half and fired a shot into the right corner of the goal for a 2-0 lead. Allysa Cowens added to the lead with an unassisted goal at the 44 minute mark to push the lead to 3-0. The Southern keeper continued her fine play keeping the Seahawks out of the goal for the next 20 minutes. At the 65 minute mark, Parker scored her second goal of the game when she took a deflection off a Bulldogs defender and scored unassisted for a 4-0 South River lead. In the final minute of the game, Hannah Degan passed a long ball into the goal box and Calen Norton shot low past the keeper for a 5-0 Seahawks win. The South River back line of Kambrea Smith, Makenzie Cooke, Maddie Kunst and Savannah Hannon kept the Bulldogs from testing goalkeepers Maddie Dubois and Sam Smith throughout the game for their fourth consecutive shutout.
