South River traveled to Fort Meade to face the Mustangs of Meade High School. Rylee "Pebbles" Kelly took only three minutes to score unassisted for an early Seahawks lead. Amanda Parmele scored unassisted at the six minute mark for a 2-0 advantage. Tess Casper assisted Ashley Tarjick five minutes later to add to the South River margin. With three minutes remaining in the half, Tarjick gave the Seahawks a 4-0 halftime lead when she took a pass from Kayla Hannon and shot low past the Mustangs keeper for her second goal of the game. The Seahawks offense continued to come at the Meade keeper in the second half with several shots on goal. Tarjick recorded her hat trick two minutes into the half when Maddie Bonzella passed to her in the box and she shot hard past the keeper for a 5-0 South River lead. The lead was increased to 6-0 two minutes later when Morgan McLean dribbled through the Mustangs back line and scored unassisted in the lower left corner of the goal. Elizabeth Bills got on the scoreboard at the 44 minute mark with a driving header off a corner kick from Gabby Holbert. Marisa Falsone passed to the top of the box and Tess Casper drove a twenty yard shot over the outstretched hands of the keeper for an 8-0 South River lead 53 minutes into the game. The Seahawks moved to a 9-0 lead three minutes later when Kelsey Racette scored off a rebound from the Mustangs keeper and shot into the lower corner of the goal. Six minutes passed when Parmele scored her second goal of the game when her corner kick curved untouched into the goal for a 10-0 advantage. The Mustangs keeper made some excellent saves but Kayla Hannon scored unassisted with five minutes left in the game for an 11-0 South River lead. The final score of 12-0 was reached when Natalie Boyd scored off a pass from Gabby Holbert at the 68 minute mark for Holbert's second assist of the game. South River was in command of the game with thirty shots on goal to Meade's three shots. Seahawks keeper Jordan Vincent recorded one save and Julia Cobb saved the other two for South River's eighth shutout of the year.
