The Seahawks traveled to Pasadena, MD to play the Eagles of Northeast High School. South River wasted no time getting on the board when Marisa Falsone scored off an assist from Ashley Tarjick twenty-five seconds into the game. Keeping the pressure on the Eagles keeper, the Seahawks broke through again six minutes later when Kelsey Racette scored off a pass from Maddie Bonzella for a 2-0 lead. Five minutes passed when Amanda Parmele curved a shot from the corner over the keeper, off the post into the back of the goal for a 3-0 lead. Excellent goalkeeping by the Northeast keeper for the remainder of the half kept the Seahawks scoreless and settling for a 3-0 halftime lead. South River started the second half as they started the game scoring twenty-two seconds into the half when Mia Piazza passed to Makenzie Shields at the top of the box who shot past the keeper to push the score to 4-0. Maddie Bonzella recorded her second assist of the game when she passed to Tarjick ten minutes later who scored for a 5-0 lead and her team leading fifth goal of the season. Rebecca McClenahan finished the scoring with a low shot past the outstretched hands of the keeper into the corner of the goal for a final Seahawks victory of 6-0. The South River goalkeeper tandem of Jordan Vincent, Caroline Ashen and Julia Cobb recorded their fourth shutout of the season.
