The Seahawks traveled to Millersville, MD to face the Patriots of Old Mill High School. Starting slowly, the Seahawks put numerous shots on goal early in the first half but good goalkeeping by the Patriot keeper kept the game scoreless for the first seventeen minutes. At that time, Ashley Tarjick dribbled through the Old Mill defense and scored unassisted for a 1-0 Seahawks lead. Six minutes later Amanda Parmele crossed a ball into the box which was taken by Marisa Falsone who shot past the keeper for a 2-0 lead which the Seahawks took into halftime. South River started the second half in attacking style when Natalie Boyd passed to Maddie Bonzella 90 seconds into the half who scored to push the lead to 3-0. Two minutes later a scrum in front of the Old Mill goal resulted in a Seahawks 4-0 lead when the ball rolled out to Haley Darnell who shot past the Patriot keeper continuing the South River offensive prowess. Tarjick recorded her second unassisted goal of the game ten minutes later which was quickly followed by Kelsey Racette's first goal of the game when she took a pass from Rylee "Pebbles" Kelly in the box and shot past the keeper to make the lead 6-0. The final score of 7-0 was reached with five minutes remaining in the game when Falsone scored her second goal of the game taking a cross from Mary Giaimo in the box and shooting past the outstretched hands of the Old Mill keeper. The Seahawks domination was evident taking 38 shots on goal and not allowing a single shot by the Patriots.
