The Seahawks traveled to Gambrills, MD to play the Arundel Wildcats for a matchup of two of the best teams in the county. Against county play, the Wildcats came into the game with a record of eight wins and one loss, scoring thirty-two goals and giving up only one. The Seahawks were on a seven game winning streak with a record of nine wins and one loss, scoring sixty-three goals and giving up three. South River controlled most of the first half keeping the Wildcats on their half of the field for the majority of the play. Fine goalkeeping by Arundel kept the game scoreless until Rylee "Pebbles" Kelly passed to Grace Casper outside the box who lofted a shot over the keeper from twenty yards out for a 1-0 South River lead. Seven minutes later, Ellie Pikulsky put a corner kick into the box which was headed into the goal by Megan Sebold to push the lead to 2-0, which they took into halftime. Twenty-two seconds into the second half, Lissette Carneiro, dribbled through the Arundel defense and scored unassisted over the outstretched hands of the keeper for a 3-0 Seahawks lead. Both teams played hard for the remaining thirty-four minutes, but neither team was able to add to the score and the game ended with a 3-0 South River victory. The Seahawks defensive backfield of Molly Youmans, Madison Baratta, Kaley Feldhausen, Lindsey Mulcahy, Morgan McLean, Kayla Bobick and Zoe Racette frustrated the Wildcats front line throughout the game and allowed only one shot on goal the entire game. South River keeper Jordan Vincent recorded the ninth shutout of the season for the Seahawks.
