South River traveled to Glen Burnie, MD to face the North County Knights for their first away game of the season. The Seahawks dominated from the opening kick and Sophia Michalsky-Cooper scored three minutes into the game off an assist from Ana Goforth. The Knights goalkeeper made several great saves to keep the score close for the next twenty minutes. The Seahawks exploded for six goals in twelve minutes starting with Zoe Racette assisted by Ellie Pikulsky. Two minutes later, Pikulsky assisted Goforth to make the score 3-0. Lissette Carneiro scored unassisted and Charlotte Chamberlin assisted Goforth for a 5-0 lead. Chamberlin and Goforth then each scored to push the Seahawks to a 7-0 halftime lead. South River continued their dominance in the second half but the North County goalkeeper kept the Seahawks scoreless until Chamberlin had her second assist of the game to Kelsey Winters for an 8-0 lead. Carneiro then scored her second unassisted goal at the 60 minute mark and five minutes later Goforth scored her fourth goal to push the Seahawks to a final score of 10-0. The Seahawks goalkeepers, Jordan Vincent, Kelsey Winters and Mia Sumera combined for South River's fourth shutout of the season. The Seahawks defense held North County without a shot on goal while South River managed thirty shots of their own, twenty of which were saved by the Knights goalkeeper.
