South River finished their home schedule with a game against conference rival Arundel. Both teams showed a strong defense with neither team able to put a score on the board through the first thirty minutes of the game. With five minutes left in the half, Princess Talbott crossed a pass into the box and Sami Moreland shot past the keeper for a 1-0 lead. The Seahawks continued to pressure the Wildcats keeper in the second half until Erin Grigsby passed to an open Melissa Blair who scored to make the score 2-0. Katelyn Kunert got on the board when she took a pass from Moreland and lofted a shot into the upper corner to push the lead to 3-0. South River added to the lead when Ellie Pikulski crossed a pass into the box and Moreland volleyed a shot past the keeper for a 4-0 lead. The final score of 5-0 was reached when Caroline Calmon passed to Haley Simpson at the top of the box who placed a perfect shot past the hands of the diving Wildcats keeper into the left corner of the goal. The Seahawks defense of Molly Youmans, Madison Baratta, Kaley Feldhausen, Zoe Racette and Makenzie Charist allowed only two Arundel shots on goal the entire game while the Seahawks managed fourteen against a strong Wildcats defense. South River keeper, Colleen Wagner, notched her ninth shutout of the season including stuffing a point blank breakaway and saving the best scoring opportunity for Arundel in the game.
