South River faced Southern on the main stadium turf on a warm afternoon. The offense immediately put pressure on the Bulldogs keeper until Cristina Young scored the Seahawks first goal three minutes into the game. Sami Moreland added to the lead when Katelyn Kunert found her open in the front of the goal for a 2-0 lead. Caroline Calmon passed to an open Ellie Pikulski who shot past the keeper to give South River a 3-0 lead. The half ended with Princess Talbott scoring unassisted in the final seconds for a 4-0 halftime score. The second half scoring continued when Caroline Moss fired a hard shot that banked off a Southern defender into the goal for a 5-0 lead. With seven minutes left in the game Jayqueline Natoli crossed a hard pass across the front of the goal and Erin Grigsby took the assist firing a hard shot into the goal to add to the lead. The final score of 7-0 was reached when Hannah Murray scored unassisted in the final minutes of the game. Once again the Seahawks defense of Molly Youmans, Madison Baratta, Zoe Racette and Kaley Feldhausen did not allow a single shot on goal the entire game. South River dominated play outshooting Southern 28-0.
