Undefeated South River met another undefeated Severna Park team at Kinder Farm Park on an overcast breezy day. Both teams had several scoring opportunities and the Seahawks keeper, Colleen Wagner and the back line of Madison Baratta, Molly Youmans, Zoe Racette and Kaley Feldhausen managed to keep the Falcons off the scoreboard for the first thirty minutes of the half. Wagner stopped a point blank shot from ten yards out but the ball spun into the goal to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead. Both teams continued to attack the goal in the second half but great defensive play from both back lines and the keepers resulted in a scoreless half and Severna Park escaped with a 1-0 shutout to remain perfect on the season.
