The South River Seahawks returned to the comfort of their home Bermuda field on a warm sunny fall day to face the North County Knights.  From the opening whistle the Seahawks were in control over the outmanned Knights getting a shot on goal in the first twenty seconds of the game.  The South River offense was relentless attacking the goal with numerous shots throughout the half.  Only the superb play of the Knights keeper kept the game scoreless through the first twenty-eight minutes.  With six minutes left in the half, Lauren Zinkl took a pass from Alexis Ward and fired past the Knights keeper for a 1-0 lead.  Two minutes later Hannah Foley dribbled through the defense and scored to give the Seahawks a 2-0 lead at halftime. The second half continued with the same pressing attack with Hannah McGlynn scoring unassisted for a 3-0 cushion.  Claire McElhenny pushed the lead to four when she took Alexis Ward's long throw-in and flicked it off the back of her head into the North County goal.  Kelsie McGlynn scored the fifth goal of the match with an assist from McElhenny to give South River a 5-0 final.  Once again the back line of Kayla Carson, Amanda Wijntjes, Allison Criswell and Allison Dudley did not allow a shot on goal the entire game.  Seahawks keepers, Colleen Wagner and Allison Arslanian were pressed into action with numerous passbacks during the game but never faced a shot from the Knights front line.  The Knights keeper continued her outstanding play throughout the game facing twenty-three shots from the South River offense.  Fourteen different Seahawks players managed a shot on goal during the game.
