A light drizzle marred the start of the game with the Northeast Eagles. The South River offense pressured the Eagles defense throughout the entire game but the superb play of the Northeast keeper managed to keep a scoreless tie at halftime. The Seahawks offense kept shooting into the second half but it wasn't until fifty-five minutes into the game were they able to break through. Alexis Ward assisted with a long throw-in which Caroline Boyd flicked back off her head over the outstretched hands of the Eagles keeper for a 1-0 lead. Minutes later, Caroline Moss passed to an open Claire McElhenny who placed a hard shot past the keeper for the Seahawks second goal. Five minutes later, the game was put out of reach when Hannah McGlynn took a pass from Hannah Foley and lofted a shot over the keeper into the side netting of the goal for a 3-0 lead. The strong defensive play of Kayla Carson, Amanda Wijntjes, Allison Criswell and Allison Dudley did not allow the Northeast offense a shot on goal the entire game. The South River offense managed twenty-five shots against the Eagles defense but struggled to get a shot past the Eagles keeper. The Seahawks keeper, Colleen Wagner, was not forced to make any saves but was pressured several times to take pass backs from her own defense to clear the ball away from the Northeast attack.
