On a windy, sunny day, Xiaosong Shang paced the way again for South River, leading the Seahawks to a 7-2 victory over Northeast.

Shang cruised in number one girls' singles with her third straight 6-0, 6-0 victory.  The number two girls' doubles team of Hannah Parks and Katie Simmons continued their dominating success as well with their third consecutive 6-0, 6-0 victory.

Maya Fromme added another win at girls' singles, while Ryan Flemming and Adam Russell chalked up two more in boys' singles.  Alex Fagan and Emre Brock picked up a win at number two boys' doubles, while Samantha Simmons and Mary Duggan rounded out the day with a 6-0, 6-3 victory at number one girls' singles.

The win moves the Seahawks to 3-0 on the season, and 2-0 in county play.  South River returns to the courts tomorrow when they host Huntingtown from the Southern Maryland Athletic Conference at 4:00 p.m.
