In a near flawless game the Seahawks defeated Chesapeake 4 to 1 in a terrific win. Freshman Nicole McFee pitched the entire game giving up only one run and five hits. The Cougars hit the ball hard but could not get past the superb defense shown by the Hawks. Sophomore Christina Robey had a 2 rbi single in the first inning scoring Tori Barger and Taylor Smith. It was a 2 to 1 game until the bottom of the sixth inning. Freshman Taylor Smith hit a 2 rbi double driving in Naomi Johnson and Kaileigh Ducharme. The extra cushion helped as the Seahawks went out and held the Cougars one last time. Way to go Hawks!
