The Lady Seahawks opened their season on the road at Fallston. After the long bus ride the girls were ready to play pounding Fallston 17 to 4. Freshman pitcher Nicole McFee pitched all six innings allowing just four runs on five hits and five walks. She also collected eight stirkeouts. Sophomore Gillian Krautman took advantage of Fallston's field having no fence. Four times she got up to the plate she hit the ball sharply to the outfield and used her speed to wheel all the way around for a homerun. Four homeruns and ten runs batted in. Freshmen Taylor Smith had several putouts in centerfield. She contributed 3 rbi's and 3 runs scored. Sophomore Haley Walker had 2 rbi's and 2 runs. Sophomores Samantha Larson and Tori Barger had an rbi and a run. Other Seahawks who contributed a run were Amanda Evans, Brittney Barlow, Erin Moren, Victoria Mosley, Kaileigh Ducharme, and Andrea Jones. Way to go Hawks!
