The Lady Seahawks battled Northeast in a terrific game. Despite a slow start the Hawks battled back with the bats scoring 15 runs in the last five innings causing a tie in the final inning. In the eighth inning the Seahawks scored six additional runs and then held Northeast to win 21 to 15. Morgan O'Brien and Victoria Barger split the pitching duties both striking out 6. Morgan added 2 runs at the plate and Victoria added 3. Shelby Olender, Brianna Page, and Samantha Larson all added three runs. Sophomore Kortney Lee added 2 runs. Jo DeMino hit a triple and drove in a run. Christina Robey added a double that drove in 2 runs and she scored a run. Lexi Ferguson hit a double to right field that drove in a run and she also scored. Freshman Collette Vauthier added a run and Haley Walker added another triple that drove in two runs. She also scored two runs. Great job ladies!
