The Seahawks fought very hard against North County on Friday. Despite scoring two runs in the first inning, the Seahawks found it difficult to bring in more runs leaving six runners on over the next five innings. Defensively, the Seahawks held the Knights to 4 runs through the end of the fourth. In the fifth inning four errors and two hits cost the Seahawks six runs. South River was led by Eirka Fregger who had a double and two walks and also picked off three runners sitting behind the plate. Emily Roth was two for three with two singles and scored a run.
