The Seahawks defeated Meade in the first round of the playoffs Thursday. Morgan O'Brien pitched all five innings and struck out eight as the Seahawks won, 11 to 0. O'Brien contributed to her cause by driving in two runs. Catcher Jordan Sganga went 3 for 3 and hit two homeruns driving in four runs and scoring three times. Emily Bucknall hit a triple in the first inning to get the Seahawks going. Christina Robey also hit a double and drove in a run. The Seahawks will travel to Glen Burnie on Monday as they look to continue in the playoffs.
