Again the Seahawks fell to the Wildcats 6 to 5. After giving up four runs in the first, pitcher Morgan O'Brien threw 5 shutout innings. The Seahawks slowly battled back with their bats but fell just short. Senior catcher Michelle Elliott led the way with three hits and a run scored. Brandi Dohm drove in Morgan O'Brien with one of her two hits on the day in the top of the second. Melissa DeBari hit a double in the third that drove in Gillian Krautman. Melanie Long's double down the left field line scored Melissa DeBari in the fifth. Taylor Smith scored a run in the sixth for the Hawks to take the lead. The Seahawks hope to bounce back against Annapolis friday night.
