SOUTH RIVER SOFTBALL MIXER- GREAT MILLS: 7

The Seahawks opened their invitational with a 12 to 7 win against Great Mills. Morgan O'Brien pitched the complete game and picked up the win. At the plate, she went 2 for 4 and drove in a run. The game was close until the Hawks scored seven runs in the fourth inning and never looked back. The inning was capped with a triple off the bat of Melanie Long that brought in 3 runs. Brianna Page also hit a triple earlier in the fourth to drive in a run. Michelle Elliott drove in two runs and was 2 for 3 from the plate and had two walks. Jo DeMino, Ashleigh Ruggiero, and Emily Bucknall all drove in another run for the Seahawks.
