After giving up three runs in the first inning the Seahawks drove in fourteen runs in four innings to defeat Annapolis 14 to 4. Freshman pitcher Jill Dress started the game collecting the win. Junior Melissa DeBari pitched two innings and freshman Morgan O'Brien held the Panthers scoreless in the final inning. Sophomore Melanie Long scored two runs. Freshman Emily Bucknall scored a run and drove in a run. Junior Michelle Elliott scored a run and drove in a run. Junior Brandi Dohm scored two runs. Sophomore Ashleigh Ruggiero added two runs and drove in two as well. She also turned a double play in the fourth inning. Senior Katlyn Evans and junior Anna Arcidiacono both drove in a run. Senior Alexis Ring scored three runs and drove in a run off of a double hit in the first inning. Jill Dress added two runs and drove in a run as well. Junior Melissa DeBari drove in a run. Junior Samantha Callahan scored a run and drove in two off of a double to left centerfield. Great job Seahawks!
