Freshman Emily Bucknall leads Seahawks past Meade with walk off double!

MEADE SENIOR HIGH: 6

In an exciting game the Seahawks battled Meade through nine innings to emerge victorious with a score of 7 to 6. Junior Melissa DeBari pitched all nine innings backed by terrific defense and struck out seven. Helping her own cause she also was 3 for 4 and a double. Junior Michelle Elliott was 2 for 2. Senior Alexis Ring drove in two runs with a double in the third inning. Sophomores Melanie Long and Ashleigh Ruggiero each drove in a run. Freshman Emily Bucknall led the Seahawks past the Mustangs in the ninth inning with a walk off, two run double. Way to go Seahawks.
