The Seahawks struggled early but fought back to overcome Meade in a 10 to 9 game that was decided in the last inning. Sophomore Aeron West pitched a complete game with 9 strikeouts. She also contributed 2 runs and an rbi. Sophomore Ashleigh Ruggiero added 2 runs and 2 rbi's. Junior Melissa DeBari was 2 for 3 and added 2 runs and 2 rbi's. Junior Brandi Dohm added a double and 2 rbi's. Freshman Emily Bucknall got the offense going batting in the five spot. She was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 runs, and 2 rbi's. Senior Alexis Ring added an rbi and Sophomore Melanie Long scored the winning run after starting the inning with a perfect bunt to give the Seahawks a runner to move around. Great game Hawks!
