DUNDALK HIGH: 0
South River hosted Dundalk in the 2011 Ken B. Dunn Invitational tournament. Charlie Hardesty and Bryan Shores combined on the mound to shut-out Dundalk on the way to a 7-0 victory. Hardesty yielded just one hit while striking out 6 for the Seahawks.
South River never trailed after scoring one run in the first on an RBI single by Gabe Vertucci. South River then scored three runs in the third on a fielder's choice and an RBI single by Craig Sheridan.
Scott Mitchell had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. Mitchell singled in the third inning and doubled in the first and fourth innings.
Gabe Vertucci, Connor Cox and Mitchell helped lead South River as they combined for six hits and five RBIs.
