The Seahawks held on for a 9-8 victory behind a strong pitching performance from Bryan Shores. The Seahawks jumped out to a 9-0 lead only to watch Chesapeake mount a ferocious comeback to score 8 in the bottom of the 6th. Scott Mitchell, Shores, and Joe Scott all went 3 for 4 offensively to lead the Seahawks to their first conference win.
