South River overwhelms Annapolis, 14-4, outfielders lead the charge
Brody Raimondo and Connor Cox both went three for three, while Cox and Grant Atchison had three RBIs each as the Hawks put this one away early to win 14-4 at Annapolis High in five innings.
B. Raimondo also scored three runs, while Scott Mitchell and Kyle Canavan scored two. Atchison had two hard singles, and Gabe Vertucci, Mitchell, Craig Sheridan, Mike Labs, and Mike Kalin also had hits for the Hawks.
Pierce Tyrrell took command early on the mound, allowing one run over three innings. Tyrrell struck out three, walked two and surrendered two hits. Thomas Falsone came on and threw two innings, striking out two.
The Hawks move to 7-2 overall on the season with the win.
