Junior Mary Milligan scored five of her seven points in the fourth quarter and hit a couple of key free throws. Lawrence and freshman Domonique Hagins also came through from the foul line.

"They all stepped up big-time," said South River coach Mike Zivic, whose team trailed by one point heading into the fourth quarter.

Sophomore Kailee Knight scored eight points for South River and pulled down 15 rebounds, while Hagins added 13 points and six assists.

Southern got a game-high 20 points from senior Jasmine Wills and 17 points from junior Raquelle Jones.
