The South River Boys JV lost another heartbreaker to Broadneck, losing again with a score of 1 to 0. The entire team played great soccer in a physical and well skilled game. Unfortunately, Broadneck had one opportunity to get a shot off around the 18 yard line and had just enough of an angle to sneak one into the net. The entire midfield played well and Sophomore Jeff Patterson did an excellent job of shutting down the quick strikers for the Bruins. The Hawks hope to rebound against North County and Meade next week.
