Freshman cornerback Matt Egley gave the Seahawks exactly what they needed when he picked off a Severna Park pass early in the fourth quarter. The touchdown lead to 20 unanswered points as the Seahawks pulled away from a tough Severna Park Falcon football team.
Lavon Chaney added an interception to his impressive resume. He also scored a touchdown on the ground.
Connor Cox hit Eric Young, Jay Smith, and Chaney for scores through the air.
Jonathan Trappe also had an interception return for a touchdown.
The Seahawks are 4-2 and host Glen Burnie for homecoming next Friday night. The Seahawks seek revenge from a loss last season to the Gophers.
